What is a Legacy Nurse Mentor?

Legacy mentors are experienced nurses, usually in mid-late career, who can provide coaching and mentoring to our NHS nurses who are at the start of their careers, are newly appointed into the NHS or want to upskill and develop further to progress their role.

They provide essential professional advice, education and guidance and pass on a ‘legacy’ to the next generation. They play a crucial role in supporting staff health and wellbeing and career progression.
