About the event
This course is designed to help participants develop a deeper understanding of lateral ankle and forefoot pathologies, including the various differential diagnoses and how these might influence management strategies. It aims to increase confidence in conducting both subjective and objective assessments of the foot and ankle, enabling more precise evaluations. Participants will learn to clinically reason and apply evidence-based treatment options effectively. The course also provides insights into the appropriate use of imaging for the foot and ankle, including when imaging is indicated and which modalities are most suitable. Additionally, it focuses on enhancing skills in creating initial rehabilitation plans for the foot and ankle, particularly tailored for First Contact Practitioners (FCPs).
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop a better understanding around lateral ankle and forefoot pathologies, including differentials and how they might change management.
- Increase confidence in both your subjective and objective assessment of the foot and ankle
- Be able to clinically reason and apply evidence-based treatment options
- Improve your understanding around imaging for the foot and ankle, when it’s indicated, and which imaging is most appropriate
- Enhance your skills in developing initial foot and ankle rehabilitation plans (suitable for FCPs)
