Location: The Polka Theatre, 240 The Broadway, Wimbledon , SW19 1SB 

 

South West London Training Hub invites educators from all general practice disciplines to join us at the Polka Theatre for a day filled with insightful discussions, interactive workshops and networking opportunities. This conference brings together a diverse group of professionals who work in SWL to share recent updates and best practice in education and provide opportunities to further develop skills as an educator, through a series of breakout sessions. Attendees will be invited to sign up to their preferred sessions ahead of the event. 

 

The conference also serves as a platform for networking, offering attendees the chance to connect with peers, share experiences, and collaborate.

    Wimbledon Main Line station is a 10-minute walk away. Wimbledon is 16 minutes train journey from WaterlooBy bus:57, 93, 219, 131 stop outside at the ‘Polka Theatre’ stop156, 163, 164, 200 stop nearby


  • By tram:

    Wimbledon station with links to Croydon, Beckenham & Mitcham


  • By car/coach: Sat Nav: SW19 1SB

    There are a limited number of pay-and-display bays on the roads behind the theatre, namely Latimer Road, South Park Road, Bridges Road, Dudley Road, and Kings Road.


    However, finding a space can be difficult and many meters have a 2-hour limit. Alternative car parking is available in Wimbledon Town Centre, including Centre Court Shopping Centre, The Broadway (next to New Wimbledon Theatre), Queen’s Road, St George’s Road, Hartfield Road, and Hartfield Crescent.

    Blue Badge parking is available at Centre Court, Hartfield Road, Georges Road, Queens Road, and The Broadway.


  • By Bike:

    There is a cycle rack at the front of the theatre for those who wish to cycle.
